So yeah I just watched Porco Rosso... and it was good and all but there was NO CLOSURE! I was sad. Well, the no closure was kind of the point, but I'm pissed! I wanted closure! That's why I watch movies! A self contained plot that then ties itself off at the end! But nooooooooooo. No closure at all. Sigh.
So anyway, earlier today some Star Wars special thing came on the History Channel, and it was pretty good. 2 hours though. That was kinda unexpected. Although, I mean, it's not like there's not 2 hours worth of material to talk about in Star Wars or anything, but you know. It kinda got boring at the end. It was like talking about how lots of separate elements of Star Wars are from different myths. You know, whatever.
I've been playing Metal Gear Solid 3 too. It's taken me long enough to get to it though. A good year? More? Year and a half maybe? But yeah. Good ol' Metal Gear. Always delivers. Well I just beat the third boss (The Fear) and what a fucking asshole. It was like shoot shoot shoot... fuck he recovered his stamina... shoot shoot shoot... fuck... shoot... fuck... sh... f.. s.. f . . . . .. and at about that time I killed myself and then started over. This happened twice, and then I just shot him like 8 times in the face in a row and won. It took like 10 seconds.
In other gaming news, I bought Samurai Legend Musashi and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney today. Both were 10 bucks which is the reason I got them. Fuck yeah fuck yeah. Also, the first Haruhi DVD comes out tomorrow (the tomorrow that is actually today, as in Tuesday) and I'm going to get them so hard.
The title is a homage to Starcraft, as I bought it the other day, and have been playing it. Still awesome and, as you might expect, still Starcraft. I want the Warcraft III battle chest to go down to 20 bucks, and then I'll buy that too.
I was thinking of playing KOTOR while I was watching that Star Wars thing, but decided against it. At least not for now. Maybe one day. After I beat the other 85 games I have waiting.
I did beat San Andreas however. Totally unsatisfying. Well, the ending was. The last mission was awesome. There was also a SWAT tank that shot water. It was like holy fuck this is fucking amazing.
I think that might be about it. I fell asleep early these last two days for some unknown reason, and then ended up waking up around 6 and going in and out of sleep until about 12. It kinda pissed me off.
No farther in the book department, thanks to the falling asleep early and also shit going on.
OH YEAH JEREMY'S THING. It was pretty cool. Nothing special. About what usually happens when we all get together. Played some games, that's about it. It was me, Dan, Stefan, Roman, Jeremy, and Jevawn. Stayed until about 11, watched Epic Movie (so bad), played Dead or Alive 4 (so good, button mashing madness, I was in heaven) and some Super Paper Mario (also so good but I've beaten it before so whatever. Also not a very multiplayer game. You know.)
The queue continues growing, as I stacked up all of the DVDs I own that I haven't watched. This is while the simultaneous queue of video games and books goes on, so things need to be balanced. No one but me cares and I doubt anyone but me reads this anymore... Well!
I guess I'm out then. I'm sad that this makes it seem like my life is video games, and I can't really dispute it.
So once again I sit here and post on this site for Rohit's amusement~! Anyway, so yeah. Totally watched me some fucking DBZ last night and it was totally awesome! Although I'm not very far. And still have to stomach the majority of the retarded Snake Way/Gohan's Training part before we get to instant classics, such as the infamous 9000 bit. I've also been downloading a chronological pack of DC comics, which is awesome. Such gems as Atari Force. Awesome. And yes, I'm not at tech, so it's taking awhile, and yes, Dan already downloaded it all, and yes, I could easily get it from him, but, despite all of these things, you can go fuck yourself.
Rohit.
I also finished Carol Berg's series. Totally awesome. Kinda weird though... summary: fighter of demons is a slave and is then released by the prince of the land (book 1) joins with a demon (book 2) and then becomes a god but it's all part of his master plan to rid the world of evil as the prince then un-godifies him (book 3). Pretty good, nice read, first person-y, I enjoyed it. Now it's time to start again on Gotrek and Felix!
Yes, Gotrek and Felix. An item which Jon has said a few things about, including relating a mohawk to a dildo. That's right. Mohawk. And dildo.
Anyway, so this morning I finally watched Top Gun. Yeah, I hadn't seen it before. It was pretty good. Not worth the favorite movies list on facebook though. Also I started downloading the dub of this show Crayon Shin-Chan after I caught an episode on adult swim. Holy fuck the awesomeocity of it just blows the mind. Mind you, I had run into this Shin-chan character before, upon which he was dubbed 5-sided face. Anyway, the localization job was amazing and I love it. You should watch those episodes on the site.
So on to more pressing matters, such as the TE session meeting we had before Lost today at the Tin building. So yeah... shit happened. That's pretty much the summary. TE sessions were planned out, and it ran over 45 minutes more than I wanted it to (ie 9:45 so I missed about half of Lost) and THEN LOST FINALE OMG IT WAS SO FUCKING AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I'm going to go download it and watch it from the beginning because jesus fucking christ SO GOOD! If anyone other than... Rohit... reads this, and haven't seen Lost, this season finale is worth all of the shit they make you go through (which isn't all that much don't get me wrong but there is a little bit of it so just deal) and you should watch it from the beginning.
So then yeah that's about it. Oh I also watched Shaun of the Dead. Pretty good too. But once... Fuck Steven just saw Pirates 3 jesus fuck I want to see it ;_;
Damn his movie theater job!
Well I'm out.
No awesome thing for pondering today. I'm bummed because I want pirates.
Yeah so I was going to post yesterday right, but in my neverending quest for perfection, I ended up pressing back while trying to get a u with the right accent mark. So, I said fuck it after writing as much as I did, so my insights on books will probably never be yours.
Ever.
I watched Ghostbusters 2 last night, and it was as amazing as it was the first time. Also, I noticed that the production values were past the shitty ass mid-eighties production values the first one had to being a good movie. Although the first one was good even without good production values, but you know. Fuck you.
I also noticed that on one of my earlier posts, the comments got spambotted, and it confused me. Cause I can see no reason for that to happen.
In recent DVD news, I bought Dragonball Z season 2 (namek through end of captian ginyu, for those who care), Shaun of the Dead, and The Castle of Cagliostro today. Haven't watched any yet, but before I can, I'm going to watch Top Gun so those douchebags I know will shut up. Yeah. I haven't watched it yet. What of it. Fuck you guys.
So kinda a blast from the past (ie. a week ago before I started posting again) I bought and beat Super Paper Mario. Good game. Loved it. If you have a Wii, totally worth it.
Fine, I'll talk to you guys about books. Over the last year, I read the Dune series, the newest book in Dragonlance by Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman, the Ender series, the Bean series, the Wheel of Time, the second book in Robin Hobb's new series, the final book in Salvatore's newest series, and one Redwall book (because Redwall sucks compared to those other ones). Now I'm reading this series about demons and shit which is awesome by Carol Berg. Coming up next in my reading list is a Gotrek and Felix book (totally great), and Salvatore's first series, which has awesome cover art. The third one is totally amazing. Look at it. And then, I'll go off to Carol Berg's other series, and THEN it's unknown. But I was looking at this list of authors and their most influential works (all of these are after LotR) so I was thinking about reading those. Looked good, and the Wheel of Time and Robin Hobb were on there... and I love them. A lot. Annnnnnnnnyway. You guys... as in... Rohit... don't care about books.
So for my birthday one of the things I got was a blockbuster online thing, so the first three movies came today. I might watch some of them later. I got The Illusionist, Saw 3, and......... er....... I don't remember. So yeah. Top Gun first though.
Welp, I think that's about it. Maybe I have something for you to ponder... here you go. Pretty funny. You can stop after things fuck up though.
Yo.
It's been a while.
Fuck you.
Now that we're past that, on to the more pressing matters!
My birthday was a few days ago, and I'm 20 now whoo! Dan, Hanzel, Rob, and T (I believe they were the people) got me a keyblade and a Sora crown necklace thing. Totally. Fucking. Awesome. But there are no pictures of me with it. Which is sad. But you know how it is. School came and went... twice... since I posted here last... wow. Well the end result is that I don't have Hope for next semister, but hopefully I will get it back.
I started up reading a lot again and this Carol Berg person is pretty good. Reading some awesome series by her, all first-person-y and shit. Totally awesome.
BUT ALL OF THIS IS ECLIPSED BY STARCRAFT 2 WHICH HAS FINALLY BEEN ANNOUNCED! OMG! I know I've been waiting for this shit for forever, and you should have been too. Soon everyone will embrace their Korean heritage!
As a leaving note, you should ponder over this.
So yeah. It's been a little bit. Not that long though. This isn't like the Tech time where it was like once every 3 months. But you know. So anyway.
I was going to work on Wednesday, but my neighbor's wife and son got sick, so he stayed home to take care of them. So, I went to the robotics outreach. It was pretty fun. We shot balls into a basketball hoop. Gotta love it. However, it broke after a little bit. We found out today that like 4 of the teeth on a gear attached to one of the motors were snapped off by the backforce provided when the ball leaves the shooter. Yeah. If I had the picture, I'd show it, but I don't. So, unless we get a good fisher price motor tomorrow, we probably won't be shooting. Ever again. Sigh. The kids loved it so much. And then, if we are able to shoot again, we can only shoot like 3 at a time. But, whatever. Yeah, the outreach itself was pretty fun. And Roman came! Oh man! But yeah. Stefan drove me to it cause he was on Windy Hill when I called him to see if I could go. We found out there are ball coolers in his car. It's like a little air vent but at crotch level in the front seats. Pretty amusing. Then I went to Best Buy and got 3 seasons of X-Files, 2-4. Stefan came over for a little bit, but then he left and I didn't do much the rest of the day.
Thursday, once again, I didn't go to work, because this time, my neighbor got sick. So, yeah. I bought 3 more seasons of X-Files, again, 5-7, and got a DS Lite. I took Hanzel to work, and didn't do anything until like 7:30, when I remembered about Danielle's thing. So, I got dressed quickly and went to that. It was pretty fun. Kinda. It was supposed to be like a formal dance, but no one danced, and we all just talked for 3 hours. I mean it was good in that sense, and I didn't want to dance (if you guys didn't know, I'm not the biggest on dancing) so yeah. So after that, I picked Hanzel up, and yeah.
So today, working wasn't on the schedule, so yeah. I went to a robotics thing at like noon, and had to break my unspoken promise that I wouldn't talk at any of them. The kids were sucking up at doing the question and answering session, so I took the megaphone and did it. However, it had the usual set of kids, that I had predicted would be there to the Wheelerites. There was the fat boy scout who thinks he is better than everyone, including you. There was the boy scout who wanted to know if we did Battlebots or not. There was the boyscout who asked 20,000 questions, and after asking them, all of the other boyscouts asked the same questions. Sadly, Lauren forgot to charge the battery, so we didn't get to drive around. The VEX robot drove, but not the FIRST one, so it was sad. Also, before all of this, I picked up the generator from Mrs. Waintraub's house, thinking that we needed it cause it was supposed to be an outside show. But, it wasn't. So my car smelled like gas for a while for no reason. Sigh. So, I drove Stacey, Alec, Alina, and Rohit home after that (also Stefan was in the car but), and then took the robot (me and Lauren switched charges for our SUVs (in the sense that she got the generator and I got the robot)) to Mrs. Waintraub's house. So when Jeff got there we took apart the broken gearbox and found out that that gear was fucked. However, I was there for like an hour and a half for no reason, cause we didn't do much for that long. Sigh. Then, I took Doug home, cause for some reason, even though it was on the way, Mrs. Waintraub decided to take him to her house. Well, whatever. It's all good. Then I took a nap, and then it was now.
So, the DS Lite is so fucking bright. I know it can get 4 times brighter than the DS... but I apparently wasn't sure what 4 times brighter than the DS consisted of. But, yeah, it's pretty sexy. I kinda scratched the screen a little though. Cause, I'm an ass. I was trying to get a dead pixel out, but I didn't have a thick enough cloth and got mad and used a pen... so yeah. I'm gonna go get some scratch remover stuff tomorrow. It also has a leet little dust cover for the gba slot. It's pretty cool. But, yeah. I'll bring it to the lan so people can see it there.
Oh, if you're wondering about the title, check Sam's comments. I did, and that's where I got it from.
Wellp, I think i'm gonna get out of here. And go read. Cause I need to read. You know. Well anyway.
So I kicked up the reading level a notch. I finished the second War of the Spider Queen book last night, and am like a third of the way through the third one. I didn't really do much else yesterday, as I was busy reading and had to finish. Oh yeah, I had a lie in my last post, Dragonlance wasn't the first fantasy series other than Lotr, it was the second. After Xanth, by Piers Anthony. But. That was when I was in like 4th or 5th grade... and it wasn't all that good. So. I guess it can not count. Man... those books were so ghetto. So... ghetto. I don't envy not having Piers Anthony's imagination, I'll tell you that right now. Well, anyway, currently I'm going to get through The War of the Spider Queen, then I'm going to finish Moby Dick, then I'm going to finish the Redwall series. And that's how it has to be. However, as soon as the Dragonlance book comes out, that will all go on hold. So yeah. I know that my boring reading schedule interests you all. So mom skipped the Liveship Traders trilogy, as I somewhat expected. I mean, it was good... but there was no Fitz! And Fitz is amazing! But yeah. Oh man. I totally love Fool's Fate. That is perhaps my most favorite-est book. Man... sigh. Fucking insane. And it's like long as shit too. In paperback form it's 1000 pages long... that's like as long as LotR in paperback form. But it's just the third book in the trilogy. Man. I need to get Sam to read Fitz. He would enjoy it. It's not very Redwall-y, but Redwall is more geared towards little kids. Well, anyway, I think it's impossible to not enjoy the Fitz series. So far, everyone that I have made read it enjoys it as much as me. After watching mom read Hobb's stuff, I want to go read it again... man it was so good. I can't wait for the next book in her new series. I think what puts her above Salvatore in my mind is that she makes her own world. Salvatore writes in the Realms, and it's really fucking good. The best of those writings. I think he could write his own world, but he chooses not to. Well, I guess he kinda wrote his own world with the drow city. Like, no one had touched that shit before he came along. He made them famous. But Hobb... she makes every aspect of everything and stuff, just writing for herself. The first person makes it crazy too. I don't even know why. But it's so good. Oh man. And Dune. Dune is so good. I had forgotten. That's the one series I forced myself to read while I was at Tech. Man... man. I don't even know why Dune is so good. It's so crazy. Like the first 3 books are set in one span of time, and then he skips forward like 4000 years... and then he skips forward like 4000 more years... and then the final one is in that time. It's so good. Sigh. I was thinking earlier in the week, while I was watching the LotR bonus features, that no one will ever, ever look at the LotR books the same. Frodo will always be Elijah Wood. And this pains me. Some things are cast well, like the guy who played Aragorn. I think that was an amazing choice. Also Gimli and Legolas. Well, really, everyone but Elijah Wood. And it's only because of scenes like the one where the ringwraith almost finds him, and his face takes this retarded look. I wish I could find a screenshot of it. Cause I'm totally too lazy to do it myself. But, anyway, besides that... like, just the way he has depicted everything. I like most of it, if not all, but one scene that I think could have been done better was where Pippin spots the Eagles, mirroring Bilbo in the Hobbit. Oh, yeah, and what I think is perhaps the worst, even though it was needed, was Faramir. The movie Faramir is a cock bastard, while the book Faramir is cool. I think that that was done well, and needed, because without that, there would be like no tension at all in the Frodo part of the story for the movie, since Jackson took out Shelob and put it in the third movie. Oh, and the Eye. Giving Sauron a physical form, even if it is just an eye, seems a bit much. Like, that's why he was an ultra villian. He didn't have a form. The Eye was his will. Oh well. Sigh. I suppose I haven't talked about Salvatore here. He's an amazing author because... I don't even know. He has quite a few moral dilemnas, and in his Demonwar series, you don't know who to like and who to hate. There is still the evil personified thing going on, but then it's like... it possesses someone, and you're like fuck.. and then.. yeah. I don't know why Drizzt is so good. It just is. Salvatore oozes a different feel than all of the other Forgotten Realms books. It's just... better. A higher class. So yeah, my 3 favorite authors: Hobb, Salvatore, and Tolkien.
Well, anyway, now that I've talked about books for a while, time for a day thing going on. So, I worked for my neighbor for the first time today. I'm also working tomorrow and Thursday. He's a plumber, and we were putting in plumbing to this house being built in some suburbia place in downtown Atlanta. It was pretty cool. Everyone else that was working there was cool, too. But yeah, left here at like 9, worked until about 4. One thing that amused me was that no one had safety goggles, which goes against Mr. George's teachings. But, no one really minded. We did most of the PVC pipe that was left (he had already done a good deal, but we had to feed it to upstairs) and we're going to finish that tomorrow, and then start on the copper pipe. It was a pretty fun experience, all in all. Also, I'm getting paid. And getting paid is always worth it. Well. Most of the time. I'm pretty sure this is one of those times, though. So then I came home and slept, and then went to Oga's. It was good. Gotta love Oga's. Then I had to pick up my sister's friend, and that's been about it. You know how it is. I think I'm going to go read now. You guys have fun.
So. A lot of shit has happened. I'm a changed man. Well, not really. Not that much has happened, come on. Well, there was a minilan. And it was fun. But we read Andrew's post on Nintendo. And cried. Well, somewhat. He has some good points. But not all of them are good. So, anyway, I thought I'd post on my own about the subject matter.
If you look around you on the internet today, you'll see many, many people with hard ons for the Nintendo Wii. Sony, however, is getting a lot of shit thrown their way, as it's 3 times the price and copied some of Nintendo's innovation. They also have dumb excuses, such as this one. But, while they have some new cool hardware stuff.. it's nowhere near the innovation that Nintendo is throwing at us. You can use the controller as a fucking sword! It moves around and shit! And there are attachments? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! This is insanely new! I just don't think that the things Sony has announced for the PS3 can keep up. I doubt all of this fanboyness will stay, for as Andrew brings up, Sony does still have infinite software developers behind them. I'm sure, from a programming standpoint, it will be somewhat hard to code for the Wii's controller. Despite all of this, I expect the Wii to be more popular at release. I know I'm waiting for MGS4 before I buy a PS3. No need for it until then. Also, even though it's half a year until the release, I don't expect something that makes the system worth 600 dollars to appear. I'm a procrastinator myself, but really, Sony can't pull it off. To develop some crazy ass new hardware in 6 months... sigh.
On the other side of the coin, I'm also skeptical of the Wii's controller. I mean, innovative, yeah, but that is not a controller meant for marathons of gameplay. From the trailer, with that amount of flair in your gameplay, it will get tiring. Even if it's just the wrist movement, because, you don't have to like wave it all over the fucking place, it can get old. Let's just look at your average RPG game. RPGs are all about the plot. You get an RPG, you go for the plot, and a decent gameplay system. Crazy Wii innovation applied to an RPG seems somewhat explosiony. Well, it doesn't really matter. Backwards compatability to the gamecube controller is there for a reason. I imagine that most games will have that, for just such reasons I have mentioned (plot oriented games and not wanting to explode with movement). Even if they don't have the gamecube backness, I believe that they will have an option to turn off the crazyness. I think it's going to be crazy and good, but I'm also a little scared. Well, then again. That ties into why everyone is on Nintendo's cock.
Sony, who knows what is good, stuck with it. Good controller, they stuck with it. However, this also shows a lack of new, which is readily apparent next to Nintendo's explosion of new. So, Sony, knowing people will buy their stuff, are charging a lot of money for the same thing, but with better graphics and of course upgrades on hardware with the times. The software is what you want. If Sony did not have the software backing that it does, I'm not sure that the gaming division would still exist. However, that's somewhat true of Nintendo and Microsoft too. Despite how popular Zelda and such is, it couldn't survive with just those games. The highlight of the Sony conference was the MGS4 trailer, cause it's a very fanboy-esque series, and there's a new installment. The Nintendo conference had a Zelda part, but my favorite part was when Miyamoto came out and was playing tennis with the Wii controller. When the coolness of the console can surpass fanboy games, you've got something crazy. I don't mean to hate on the PS3, because it will be good hardware wise... but it won't be new. The gyros that were implemented after Nintendo's crazy ass shit pale in comparison, and a lot of fans will see it as stealing. The reason everyone is on Nintendo's cock is because they went out on a limb. It may pay off, it may not. It has paid off before, with the DS, and I think it will continue to.
Sony is still a major contender, even though people are hating on them now. The major reasons are the 600 bucks and the gyros. I think a sort of bad thing is that they want to make the PS3 last 10 years. I think they have basically released the same basic system 3 times, with updates on graphics and, of course, convinence (such as online gameplay, blueray for more gameness, the harddrive) with each subsequent release. After the Wii hype dies down, and everyone gets both a Wii and the PS3, this conflict between fanboys will be forgotten. Not the 600 bucks though. It's hard to forget 600 bucks spent on one thing. One way or another, I think the PS3 will be at least somewhat successful.
All in all, I'm going to buy both of them. And you can't stop me. I will play MGS4, and I will love it. I will play Zelda, and I will love it. I will continue to support SquareEnix, Kojima, and Nintendo. But that's it. I'm not a fan of Sony making me pay 600 dollars, but I doubt many are. Well anyway, on to lighter subjects. Because. You know. The drama of the gaming world is pretty fucking heavy.
I found out today... fucking insane shit. Weis and Hickman made another main series Dragonlance book... and it comes out next month. Me and Dragonlance are dawgs. Besides Lord of the Rings, it was the first fiction series I read. I don't like it as much as Drizzt, persay, or RObin Hobb's, books, but I do enjoy the fuck out of it. And it's going back to the Chronicles time (the first two series, as opposed to War of the Souls, which was in a crazy future). I can't wait for that shit. It will be bought. It will be bought. Salvatore is also in the middle of another E-signing, for the next Legend of Drizzt book. I'm ready to get that. When I have them all, I will re-read Drizzt. Cause, I mean, Drizzt is pretty fucking good. Everyone loves it.
I finished the first LotR movie's bonus features. I haven't watched the commentary yet though. That is not for now. Perhaps when I'm done with all of the bonus features. On all of the movies. Watching them, though, made me want to start reading LotR once a year again. Those were the days. Man I love those books. Sigh.
The DS Lite came out today.. in the sense that I haven't gone to sleep yet so it's still today. Anyway, yeah, the 11th. Soon it will be mine. Best Buy has a thing that you can get brain age for free with the purchase of it. I'll be taking advantage of that. I might get Star Fox Assault soon too, cause it's a greatest hit now. I'm so mad, I didn't have any greatest hit gamecube games on my shelf for the longest, but then I got tales of Symphonia, and so it is corrupted. I don't like the way those look. It's yellow with a black gamecube logo, for that part of the package. I don't think that is a good mix. Well. Anyway. I'm also ready for Budokai Tenkaichi 2. But I can't decide to get it for the Wii or for the PS2. Probably the Wii. With my history of Nintendo fanboyness. I hope I didn't sound too much on their cock during my little debate with myself up there. If I did, tell me. But, that won't change anything. Cause. I am on their cock. I don't try and deny this. But yeah. I need to play radiata stories too. Oh well. I'll get to that eventually.
On the DVD side of things, X-Files is on sale at Best Buy. You get 30 bucks off if you buy 3 seasons and 15 bucks off if you buy 2 seasons(a season is 40 bucks). So I think I'm going to get the 8 seasons I don't have and save 75 bucks. This keeps it below the 300 range, and therefore manageable. I'm not sure why. I probably shouldn't do that. But. I can't resist a sale. And I need all of X-Files. Duh. I'm going to have so many reward zone points man. So many. G Gundam and Love Hina cheap form also come out this month. I can't wait. Then there's Dragon Drive part 1 and, to a lesser extent, Kenshin season 2. Both of those can wait though. Oh, and Guu volume 3. But that can also somewhat wait. Well, anyway. I think I'm gonna get now. Typing was fun! WOO!
So I finally bothered to find the camera and stuff. So I took pictures. You know how it is.
Click it for a bigger version. For an ULTRA version, click here. Anyway, yeah. I don't know if I'll say everything this time, but. On the top, you can see the ultra version of Watchmen. That had to be bought. Then Maus, Akira, and Bone. Maus is a WWII thing but with jews as mice and nazis as cats. It's good. Akira is one of the best manga, it's in my top 6. I think. I don't remember. Around there though. I don't have any of the other volumes, cause they weren't released in that cheaper hardcover format (the other version is 26 bucks, while this one is like 15). Bone is a great comic, in black and white. Amazingness. Go read it. If you got Disney Adventures back in the day, they had a few chapters. That's what got me hooked. Then there's Moby Dick, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and The Bomb. Moby Dick is all epic and stuff, and was only 10 bucks. Hitchhiker's Guide is classsic and good, and I haven't read The Bomb yet. Then there's Star Wars I-VI, I-III is good, IV-VI is okay. Jurassic Park, Lost World, and third Crichton book I haven't read. Then Salvatore's books, all good, Robin Hobb, also all good, War of the Spider Queen, pretty good, Redwall, good, Dune is hidden behind some redwall, The Hobbit, LoTR, more Tolkien books hidden behind Redwall, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Dragonlance main series books (Chronicles, Legends, War of the Souls), and then that random series I haven't started yet. Well, those are all the books.
Same goes. Ultra version here. Well, everything I own is good. Nothing is double stacked, so you can see it all. The bottom row is 3x3 Eyes, in japanese, and one volume (20) of Hajime no Ippo. I don't have all of 3x3 yet, sadly. But, soon. Soon. I'm only missing 12 volumes or something along those lines. Oh well. Whatever.
Same goes. Ultra version here. Well, I'm too lazy to do the games, but you can see them there. Most of them at least. The movies are good. And shows. X-Files is on sale. I'll be getting the rest pretty soon. I have all of Evangelion, 2 volumes of Guu, and that's all that could be ambigious. Anyway, I guess that's about it on that front.
So.. 2 days ago... hmm. Stuff. Hanzel and me went to frisbee. It was pretty fun. But not as fun as last time I went. Not as many people were there. But, it was good. It ended early and me, Stacey, Sam, Gary, Hanzel, and some guy I didn't know went to QT. Gotta love that Gardetto's are on sale. Can't beat that shit. So I got some of those. It was good. Then I took Sam and Stacey home, and Stacey was told the story of the time that Hanzel thought she was looking at his dick during Peachtree. She seemed mad, but apparently wasn't. She had a story for us about Sam but it wasn't that good, so. Whatever. Then Hanzel was taken home, and I went home ready for the watching of the Lord of the Rings bonus features. They actually got better than they had been. When the cast got involved, it was pretty amazing. Apparently, because Peter Jackson is kinda crazy, there were cameras all over everywhere, so sometimes they had decided to fuck around. So it ended up with Elijah Wood cussing. And it was fucking amazing. I couldn't stop laughing. But you know.
So the next day... not that much happened. I took Hanzel to get his check, and then he came over to my house for a little and watched X2: X-Men United. During the beginning of this, I took dad to his highschool reunion (because he was going to get too drunk to drive) and then, after the movie, we went to Best Buy. I got Grave of the Fireflies because they finally fucking marked it down from 50 bucks. Man. I don't even know. That movie is like 4 years old and they still had it marked like that. Whatever. Guu volume 3 was there, and I was going to get it, but then I saw Grave of the Fireflies so I didn't. Then we went to a Chinese place, and then I took him home. About this time dad called, so I went to go pick him up. He decided to lecture me on driving while we were on the way home.. which confused me. If he wanted someone that drove slower, he could have made Bari do it. But, whatever. So anyway yeah. Then I watched more Lord of the Rings bonus features. Then I went to bed. It was a pretty good day. This morning (meaning at like 2) I woke up because the neighbors are having a pool party. Apparently, though, some old white asses in our neighborhood called... us... to tell them to turn down the music... or else they would call the cops. The music wasn't that loud, and the old asses live down the street. I hate people. Oh well. I guess that's about it. I'm sure you're all amused by my pictures! Woo! Okay bye.
So I agree with Dan's assessment, but I've decided to add episode titles. Also self serving. But I'll get to life-itude after that. Because I don't have much else to do at the moment.

Since you all care so much. However, as an added bonus, here's the ultra theme! As in the first episode's theme! Which is the best song ever to exist! Download it all of you. Also, I recommend that you all watch them in the airing order, as watching them in chronological order, while it will give you a better idea of the plot and stuff, it's not as cool, for if you watch it in airing order, you get all of the confusion and amazement that's involved with this show!
So, anyway, now that I'm done contribuiting what I can to the greater good, it's time to bore you all with my life!
Oh man, it's been a whole 3 days. I don't know if I can remember that far back.. okay, I'll try. For all of you. Except no one reads this. So I'll go back to typing for no reason. Okay!
On Monday... (the 5th for those of you who keep track of such things) I didn't do much. At least not to my memory. Um... took Hanzel to work, which is a normal thing, as you may well know. OH YEAH! Okay, so I took Hanzel to work, and then Emily called me to see if I wanted to go to starbucks because she was actually in town (because she has summer school and stuff) and so I was like okay whatever. So we went to Barnes and Noble (the one next to Cumberland) and had some Starbucks. It was pretty good. It's been a while, as I don't have constant in walking distance access to one anymore. However, that's good for me because I don't want to spend that much money on food items. I say this but instead I spend my money on such things as DVDs. But, hey, who can resist a good DVD. I know I sure can't. So it's pretty much safe to assume that I had to pick up my sister's friends and bring them over here. Because that is what has been going on for a while. Well, anyway, then my sister told me to watch Date Movie, which actually wasn't that bad. It had its funny moments, and it parodied its fair share of romantic comidies. Also, Eddie Griffin was in it, so you can't really go wrong. So, Alina invited me to frisbee, which I hadn't been to in forever. It turns out, I still suck. Surprising. So, after sucking it up for 2 hours, I took Sam (of the Eisen variety), Alec, and Alina home. I also bought them all QT drinks. The lucky jews. They all live off of Post Oak. I think that's so weird. So, anyway, then I picked up Hanzel, and we went to Kroger. Cause they were open, and also across the street. Well anyway, then I went home and went to bed at like 3. I might have asked The Guy about some stuff. But, I don't remember.
So on Tuesday, 666, I had to get up at 8! 8 AM! SATAN! Well it was because my sister's mom is stupid and decided that they needed to be home at this ungodly hour. Well, whatever. Retarded. So I took them home, and upon return, I wasn't that tired, so I played some Budokai Tenkaichi. I do enjoy that game, quite a bit. I've already unlocked every character, but playing with them is the amazing part. So, anyway, then I took a nap until like 2, when Hanzel called me to come take him to work. I found out that my sister's friends are afraid of me because I curse a lot while I'm in the car. As may be expected. So, all rides with them and my sister are completely silent, except for the backdrop of Zeppelin playing. On my way back from taking Hanzel to work, I stopped at Tomato (Japanese food store) and picked up some essential items (such as the ultra chicken ramen) and also got some coke. Then, as soon as I walk in the door, after like an hour of carness, Bari decides that I have to take her and her friend to the mall. Crying, I walk back to the car and drive her to her friend's house. However, he isn't answering his phone, so we go in the broken exit gate and go knock on his door. At this point Bari was pissed, so I didn'tt have to take them to the mall. Relieved, I headed home and slept. Probably. Bari and co. went to go see the The Omen remake, but she said it was exactly the same as the first one. Like sometimes word for word. So, don't bother to see it. Yes, I do trust her opinion, surprisingly. So, anyway, I randomly called Keiichi, and he was like "OMG PICK ME UP FROM THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE TOMORROW!" so I was like "kay whatever." Also, my neighbor called me and somewhat gave me a job, helping him out with his plumbing thing. So, I'll agree with that. Money is my friend. Yet it burns holes in my pockets. Sigh. Well, anyway, hopefully that will be cool. And stuff. Well, of course it will. I'll be making money. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG WITH THIS SCENARIO! Anyway, so I picked up Hanzel at midnight (or around there) and went to Kroger again, this time to get Dad a birthday card. He turned 50 on the 7th. I found this ultra one where it was like one of those pictures spell out words (such as eye + car - r + glasses etc.). It's like impossible to figure out though. When you open it, it says "The thing on the cover doesn't spell anything. I just like making fun of you old people. Happy birthday!" Best card ever. So anyway, I dropped him off at his house, and when I got back home, I decided it was running time. So, I went back out and ran for like 30 minutes. This is at like 3 AM. But, you know. It was fun.
So anyway, today, Keiichi called me at like 11 to come and get him. So, I went over to Google maps, and told it to give me directions. However, it took me to some place that was much farther than I needed to go. So, I just needed to go down Atlanta Rd., but it told me to turn on all of these backstreets and then took me to a road that was about 3 miles from the actual place I was supposed to be. I found my way there eventually, though, so it was okay. I picked Keiichi up and took him here, for I was too lazy to drive all the way to hell at the time. So, we talked about random shit, such as the Wii, or the PS3, and I let him borrow the Ranma 1/2 I have burned to DVDs (Seasons 1-6) and also Howl's Moving Castle, because he still hasn't seen it. Despite my pestering. Sigh. So, anyway, then I took a nap. Cause I was tired. I got up at 2:30, but somehow didn't leave the house until 4. Which confused me. I'm not sure where that hour and a half went. So, anyway, then I took Keiichi home, stopping at a Borders on the way. You see, I found out that Monster had come out here. Monster is by the guy who did 20th Century Boys, one of my favorite mangas, and is amazing. Also, the volume of Kenshin with my favorite cover (27) came out, along with Naruto 10 and Bleach 13. So I spent like 60 bucks on manga (Monster is 10 bucks a volume). So yeah. I also got a Borders rewards card, which I didn't know existed, since they're free and all. Unlike the Best Buy one, it puts like 5% of your purchase cost into a holiday account thing, which you have like a month to spend. Kinda cool. But. You know. I do need to buy all of the Lord of the Rings things written by Christopher Tolkien. They're pretty good, let me tell you. Well, at least I think so. Once, I got most of them from the library and typed all of the poems and stuff in them into a text document. I have some of the document, but not all of it exists anymore, sadly enough. So, yeah. I've been reading Salvatore's War of the Spider Queen, but not very much. I'm not reading near as fast as I should be, or as I'm known to do. I've still got like half of the Redwall series to read too. Oh well. Maybe I'll get to reading. I also have infinite DVDs to watch (Escaflowne, Chappelle's show, BSG, Ducktales, Family Guy volume 3, FFU, G gundam, LOST, X-Files, the LotR bonuses, and Indiana Jones) and infinite games to play (Dragon Quest 8, FFX, FFX-2, FF8, FF9, Grand Tursimo 4, MGS3, Radiata Stories, Star Ocean 3, and Tales of Symphonia), and back to books, I could probably read LotR again. I do enjoy that book. Back in the day, I read it like once a year. If not more often than that. I got mom into Robin Hobb, she's totally addicted. But everyone who I get to read those is totally addicted. It amuses me so. They can't get enough. Well, anyway, so after getting that manga and taking Keiichi home, Rosina called me for her little get together type thing that she had because she's going back to the motherland, the Dominican Republic. So, having invited Hanzel, I had to drive back to Roswell Rd., and then back past Keiichi's house to get to Rosina's house. Sigh. A lot of wasted gas. But I didn't think she'd call that soon, so whatever. Hanzel and me also went to Publix, where he got some money and we got some wings. They were pretty good. Anyway, Dan, Hanzel and me showed up to the thing. It was kinda fun, we went out to the previously unnoticed giant lake, and fucked around with some ducks. Then we came and sat on the porch, until Rosina's mom saw her laying near a guy, which is auto get-the-fuck-out command. So we left. But it was fun while it lasted. Got to play with cats. Which is always fun. I love kitties. Not as much as puppies though. Puppies are superior to all lifeforms. So, anyway, then I got back here and staretd reading the manga I got (I do enjoy it all. Man. Some One Piece would have rounded me off. But sadly it's not to be for a month or two. So then Bari made me go pick up her friends. Again. So I confronted them about their hatred. And it was good. I think they're amused by me now, so yeah. So then I finished my manga, and then it was now. Pretty good day. The post is also full of tangets. Gotta love posts like that.
Anyway, now that I've typed for no reason, because no one will read this, except perhaps Dan, and maybe Sam, it's off to bed. And reorganizing my manga. Once I find out what my sister did with the camera, I guess I'll showcase my new setup for manga/books. I haven't done that in a while. Don't worry though, there won't be any more manga battles. But that was fun. Let me tell you.
OKAY BYE
Man... reading Nausicaa always gets me. By that I mean this is the second time, and it got me again. It's like the death of Gandalf. Or Star Wars. Or the Return of the King. When Saruman dies. You get that feeling... and you're a happy man. Or sad. It can work in both ways. Remember when Gohan killed Cell? When Goku fights Vegeta? It was early in the series, but that doesn't make it any less epic! Or perhaps when Satsuki finds Mei, with the help of the Catbus. That's the kinda feeling you get. When Heero blows up the piece of Libra. When Sonic goes Super Sonic. All of you, go read Nausicaa. It's all that and more. It even has an ultra pro-environment message. You can't go wrong man... you can't go wrong.
In other news, Piratebay got attacked by Sweedish police. Luckily, they have backups and are either moving to another country or coming back in Sweden, so you don't have to worry. All of those crazy entertainment companies were all like "YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" but now they're all like "fuck. We are beaten again, by a foolish filesharing community!" I'm proud to say, I've somewhat dropped out of that, but not really. However, I do buy a lot of DVDs. So hopefully that somewhat makes up for it. Well, whatever. They have bad opinions. When the RIAA says that you're licensing the right to listen to your cds, but not the songs themselves, just so that people won't put them on their computers, for ease of use? Sigh. I think they deserve it. They say that CDs don't have a high failure rate, which may or may not be true, but if you do have any CDs, and a car with a CD player, you're probably going to use them there. Now, I know this may be revolutionary, but fast food places have drive-thru's for a reason. Much food and drink passes through my car. On more than one occasion, I have spilt said food/drink onto a CD, which I have out. I guess that could be claimed as my fault, but if this happened to me, and I had not ripped the CD, I would go and download it so that I could burn another copy. It's still piracy, yes, but it is for a noble purpose. Don't get me wrong though. I'm not claiming that this is what the majority of people do, because it's not. At all. If you're downloading music, it's probably not because you fucked up one of your CDs. However, because the RIAA thinks that copys of CDs exist as "affordable" replacements, I hate them. Also, what about CDs that are no longer in production? Is it legal to download those? Should it be? What happens to the RIAA's lack of backup policy after that? Is it flawed? I would say I don't have the time for this kind of argument, but I have all the time in the world. The only CDs that I would possibly buy would be Led Zeppelin's box set. It's 10 CDs, and 116 dollars (according to Amazon). The price really doesn't matter there, and I don't know why I quoted it. Anyway, so... let's say you're driving. I would buy all of Zeppelin to support it now, don't get me wrong. But, I don't want to listen to all of it, when I'm in the mood for a certain type of song. They have quite a range. So anyway, you're driving, and you have 10 cds. Maybe you know where a certain song is, maybe you don't. So you either listen to what you don't want to, or go searching. Now, let's look at the Ipod scene. Because you cannot make your copies, does this mean, after spending the 116 dollars, you have to spend a dollar on each song to get it off of Itunes? Or is it okay to put it on your Ipod, but not your computer? Well, I'm sorry for ranting. But it's a near and dear subject to my heart. For I burn many a CD for my car. I don't want to listen to all of Demon Days. I don't want to listen to Pink Floyd's 20 minute songs, limiting the songs on my CD to about 4. I want a variety of artists, from a variety of styles. Maybe the RIAA wants me to buy each CD for one song, so I can then burn it from the CD to the other CD, never having it defile my computer. I say that 16 dollars is too much for one song. I do, however, buy movies. Movies and me are dawgs. Some... (myself) may say that I buy too many movies, and waste money doing so (okay everyone). I disagree, and enjoy the simple pleasures, such as watching movies that I've bought. I also have stopped pirating games. Once, I was a big rom player, but not anymore. Anyway, I think that's about it for my cries of happiness at Nausicaa, and also my rant against music as a whole. I'm not really sure what got me on the music rant either. Oh well. I guess it doesn't matter. So go read Nausicaa, everyone. I will applaud you. And what is worth more than my applause?
I submit nothing.

Again. But this time it was me being retarded. Luckily, it was only one paragraph, which I will retype most of for you. God I hate myself. As this is a blog, I could expand upon that theme of hating myself and talk about different ways that I cut myself, but as this does not go on in my happy home, I think I'll stay away. Man, that google thing in firefox is what caused my downfall this time. GOOGLE IS AFTER MY SOUL! Well, anyway. My sleep schedule got ultra fucked up recently man. Like pretty fucking bad.
So, it started on the 31st (I think). I went to some movie night party thing that the previous Wheeler Seniors were having, and it was pretty fun. We watched Boondock Saints (which I didn't get to see all of because I got there late because fuck you) and A Beautiful Mind (which was fucking amazing). I knew about half the people there, I think. I knew Rosina, Tasha, Danielle, David (yes he wasn't a senior but that's not the point. He left early (like at 10 or something (haha he's only 15 years old)) so it doesn't matter) Kent (OMG A GOD AMONG MEN KENT! AND A PART OF MASTER OMG), Tara, and that's about it. There were like 20 people there during Boondock Saints. Too many people for 3 couches, let me fucking tell you. Well, anyway, so almost everyone left at midnight (leaving me, Kent, Tasha, Danielle, Rosina, Tara, Erin, some guy and some chick I don't know). The guys were all supposed to leave at 2, but me and Kent ended up talking until like 4:30, at which time we noticed it was 4:30, and decided to stay. I couldn't get to sleep though, so I was up at 9 when everyone else woke up, and then breakfast was served. A nice breakfast of Turkey Bacon cooked in that greaseless cooker thing and scrambled eggs. Pretty fucking good. Although the greaseless part of the bacon is somewhat sad. Bacon and grease are like chicken noodles and soup, or ramen and MSG! Anyway, I was there until 1, at which point I had to drive home on 24 hours of awakeness (Yes that means I woke up at 1 the day before, fuck you early wakeruppers) which wasn't that good. Especially since it was a cross-county drive. Man. Pretty gay. I almost swerved into another car while drifting off, but luckily I didn't. When I got home, I went to sleep. Immediately. I woke up at 7, at which point I got out of my bed and went to the nap couch and slept until midnight, when Hanzel called me to come pick him up. So, I did, and when I got back, I watched Return of the King. When it was finally over, at like 5:30, I went to bed. Oh yeah, during all of this, Bari had her friends over for some reason, so at 8 in the morning I had to wake up and drive them home. It was pretty gay. But somewhat okay, because I got to go back to sleep afterwards. Gotta love that sleep shit, man. Gotta love it.
So anyway, I started the bonus feature part of the Lord of the Rings quest, but didn't get very far, as then Hanzel called me to come take him to work to get his check. So, I did. Then, he came over here and we watched X-Men (the first one) because he hadn't seen it and wants to see 1 and 2 before seeing 3. We left at like 11 or something, and then went to Wal-Mart, where I got DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi and Eddie Murphy RAW (cause it was only 7.50. How could I resist?). When I got home, I proceeded to play that game until 8 in the morning. I then slept until 4 PM, which is bad, because I shouldn't have. Sigh. Then I played the game some more. Until I went over to Dan's at like 10, after picking up Hanzel and taking him home. At Dan's, I played it some more. Then we put in Budokai 3 and I played that. Until 7:30 in the morning. At least it was better than 8. I guess. I also had a weird ass dream where I was in the past with Biff (from Back to the Future) and someone I don't remember. Well, anyway, we didn't have a time machine, but we needed one. We thought that some car had it in it, so we were driving around at 88 miles per hour, and nothing was happening. So, we stopped at some person's house and asked for ghetto materials to make one out of. Which we did. But then I woke up, so it got no closure. I wanted to know what was going to happen. Sigh. Well, anyway, I came home, and then it was now.
Oh yeah, I forgot, the other day I was looking through old folders and I found like 4 of my xanga entries that were saved because my internet used to die a lot so I had to write them in notepad. Anyway, they were funny, and I was planning on sharing them sometime. But not now. I also found some anime reviews that I had written... which confused me. I don't remember ever writing anime reviews. I think those should stay buried.
Oh man, so I don't know if I told you guys, but I got mom addicted to Battlestar Galactica. So, she watched all of the first season, and then not thinking I had the second season, was very saddened. However, then I told her I did, and she's on another marathon now. Last I had checked, she had gone through 5 episodes in one day. I was amused, quite amused.
The rest of the Nausicaa manga came, which made me happy. I'll probably get to reading that in a second or two. Gotta love Nausicaa. CAUSE IF YOU DON'T I WILL KILL YOU.
Anyway, I'll see you guys later! Bye!
So, as I was driving Hanzel home, he told me what the milk guy told him... apparently, the coke factory here has shut down, because both Publix and Kroger are having a 5 for 10 bucks deal going on. It amuses me to no end. Also, as a marathon update, I'm in the middle of The Two Towers, just switched over the DVDs. I thought I'd share this amusement though. Bye!
IT HAPPENED AGAIN
I HATE MYSELF
So I finished Whisper of the Heart and it was good but somewhat corny. A chick falls for a guy that checked out a lot of books from the library before her, but he goes to Italy for 2 months to learn to make violins, and this inspires her to write a story. When he comes back he proposes, and she says yes. However, they're in middle school. This makes things retarded.
I started the ultra Lord of the Rings quest for watching all of the movies and all of the bonus material. There's a fucklot. Insert picture of Ian McKellen.
Such as that one. It was sad when he died for fake. Spoilers. Aeris dies. I just finished The Fellowship of the Ring and stuff.
The guy in the last post that I had a picture of was Lucifer, a villian from the X-Men comics, who paralyzed Professor X, and also had an ultra plan involving Dominus, which was to get rid of everyone's free will. Sigh.
I also found out there's another .hack series, which is a series based on a fictional MMORPG, The World, which should not still be going, in my opinion. There are too many series already.
A new episode of Suzumiya Haruhi isn't out yet, and it's very saddening.
I got psyched out by Snoopycool, who I thought had released more Ippo, but they hadn't. And I cried.
I want my Nausicaa manga. I already bought 1-4, but 5-7 are not here from when I ordered them online. It's like the best manga ever, just by the way guys. Also the best movie. But I've already talked about how it's the best movie.
I made 5 bucks last night by driving a slushi to my sister's friend's house. Quite nice. I do enjoy money.
Me and mom finished watching the BSG miniseries. Just as good as like 3 weeks ago when I showed it to Hanzel.
Sigh. I hate it when the post is deleted by pressing back. Maybe Dan can fix that. Xanga did. THIS IS MY REQUEST.
Okay back to Lord of the Rings.
I had this long ass post.. but then i pressed back.
Summary: Saw X-3, didn't hate Kitty Pryde, which is a plus, yeah, go see it.
bought another movie or two (whisper of the heart (the last ghibli movie i've seen new) and kill bill vol. 2)
went to brusters/best buy/took Hanzel to work
started watching Battlestar Galactica Miniseries with mom
found out about Caprica, a spinoff BSG thing where it's like the development of the Cylons
picked Hanzel up, he drove, it was great
watching Totoro (the original title was Totoro, Totoro!)
found out Peter Jackson is doing an extended ultra edition of King Kong (which will be bought)
I think that's about it. Sorry, I don't rewrite entries anymore guys.
Very good... very good... It's been too long since a nice game of Nanaca Crash
So yeah. Yesterday was pretty fun. I bought My Neighbor Totoro, the family classic that everyone should see, and The Place Promised in Our Early Days which is pretty fucking amazing. If you've seen Hoshi no Koe, you'll understand why it's amazing. Because this director guy is pretty fucking good. I mean, he's not Miyazaki... but he's still amazing. I may have to go buy Hoshi no Koe soon... cause I had forgotten how good it is. But, that's not the point. I also still have 7 ghibli movies (if I claimed 7 before, I was a liar, cause of Grave of the Fireflies, but) to buy until I have them all. When I have them all, the world will be a better place. For me. Not for you though.
So the way it actually went was, me and my sister went grocery shopping, then I took her to her friend's house (after of course making her buy me Chik-fil-A) and then went to go pick up Hanzel. We went to the Radio Shack next to his Publix (on Delk) because it's closing and has like 40% off of everything. So he got some 3 feet long network cables so that his computer set up could be more compact. Then we went to the Microcenter that's also right there, where he got some CDs. I didn't really want anything at either places, because I had just gotten some money. Which had to be saved. For DVDs at Best Buy. Anyway, so then I took him home, but it was horrible traffic on the way we took, so we decided to take a ghetto shortcut... and got lost in suburbia. It doesn't look that bad from above, but it was pain. It was only for like 5 minutes, but you know. Somehow... we got from Sherwood Dr. (the third turn from the left on Powers Ferry) to Terrell Mill. I'm not even sure how. That's totally fucking insane. I don't know how we didn't get to Lower Roswell, I mean Jesus Christ.... Well, whatever. So then I went to Best Buy and bought those movies. Upon arriving home, I put up the groceries and got on the nap couch, ready for the napping. However, it was not to be. Soon after, Andrew Yang called me and was like "OMG WE SHOULD HAVE A MINILAN OMGOMGOMOGMGOMGOMGOMGMOGOMGOMGOMG" so I was like... okay whatever. Call people. So he did. And there was a minilan. At C's house. We watched The Producers, Good Burger (shut up it was on)(Welcome to Good Burger home of the Good Burger can I take your order?)(I'm a dude... you're a dude... he's a dude... cause we're all dudes, yeah!), and Undercover Brother. It was me, C, Stefan, and Andrew, because Hanzel couldn't come, and Keiichi couldn't either. Steven worked for 12 hours, so he decided not to come. But anyway, yeah. When I left, it was kinda getting light outside, but the sun wasn't up yet. So, I decided to get home before the sun came up. It was an intriguing race, but I won, so it's okay. Then it was sleep until today, when I went grocery shopping some more, took Hanzel to work, but I haven't bought any DVDs... yet. Now it's nap time! I'll post tomorrow or something~ BYE~~~~
So yeah guys. Sam is an unlazy fuck. It's making me and dan look bad. What an unlazy fuck. I say we kill him. But besides that... it's kinda rant time. I've been ranting to people all day about this, but it must continue onto here, where no on will care. Cause, I mean, what's a blog without people not caring? NOTHING!
So anyway, if you've been reading my last post, because, of course, it will take you more than one sitting to read, due to it being boring and long, you may know that I've been buying Miyazaki's movies. For those of you who don't know who Miyazaki is, he's the guy who makes the good anime movies. Like the award winning Spirited Away. Which is actually what I'm ranting about. You see, Spirited Away is the only one of Miyazaki's movies to win an academy award. It is also the only one of Miyazaki's movies to not deserve an academy award. I am very confused as to why it won the academy award, as there have been movies released here slightly before and after Spirited Away, such as Princess Mononoke or Howl's Moving Castle, that deserve academy awards. I can understand the movies such as Nausicaa, which were released in Japan long ago in the 80's, not getting awards, but come on now. Spirited Away does not deserve an Academy Award. Maybe I'll let it slide if it's just because Miyazaki is a pimp, which is possible and true, as Princess Mononoke, while a better movie, was only shown in a few theaters, while Spirited Away was shown everyfuckwhere. Also, it made... too much money. I don't know. I guess I'll stop ranting after a few more sentences. The other thing I hate about Spirited Away is that it's the only thing anime most people have seen. They also think it is amazing. While I can't deny that it is a good movie, it's not amazing. They should go watch other Miyazaki films, such as Nausicaa. (Note: Nausicaa is my favorite movie. Or at least animated movie. Probably movie in general though. So if it seems I'm all over both Miyazaki's and the movie Nausicaa's respective cocks, you are correct.) Anyway, I'm sorry about the rant, and if you are totally in love with Spirited Away, I'm sorry for offending you, but it's my opinion that was drug out of the depths of hell after buying (yes I bought it which proves I don't hate it that much jesus just have to keep pressing me god damn) it and watching it again. Now to how everything else has been!
So doing nothing all the time is pretty fun, just by the way. Stefan was complaining about doing nothing earlier, but I don't believe he has a right to. I gave him many alternatives, but he was like "I'm too lazy for that shit," to which I said "then you have no right to complain." Or something. That was the gist of the conversation. Other than watching dvds, not much has been going on. I've been reading some, trying to finish the first book of The War of the Spider Queen, a concept by Salvatore, and that's pretty good, but due to the DVD buying and watching, I don't have that much time to just sit around and read. Sitting around and watching DVD's is probably worse, but I'll accept it. I never finished Moby Dick, but I will when I finish this whole War of the Spider Queen buisness. Oh, also, all of the Miyazaki movies I've been buying have convinced me to buy 5 Disney movies, which will probably turn into more when I remember Toy Story. Fuck, Toy Story was good. Okay, 6 Disney movies. They are: Aladdin, Mulan, Hercules, The Lion King, The Great Mouse Detective, and Toy Story. You see, all of the Miyazaki movies are produced by Disney. So there are Disney previews. So I get tempted. And I have no will power to resist buying DVDs. So temptation overcomes me. And I buy them. And that's my story.
So Hanzel worked from 4 AM to 5 PM the 24th to the 25th. It amused me so. I would have taken him to work at 3 AM, but he didn't call me, so I didn't know about it. I did pick him up, and it was funny. That's my story for now.
I found out the Best Buy near my house (if not all Best Buys) closes at 9 on Sunday-Thursday. I was pissed. I was going to support their business buy buying My Neighbor Totoro (one of the 7 Ghibli DVDs left for me to buy) and also applying to their store, for I haven't yet. I won't get the job, but why not try, you know? Maybe if I talk to them, they'll be like "fuck you are so workable I will take you now" and then I'll get a job. That would be nice. I still haven't bought part 1 of Dragon Drive yet either. It's only 30 bucks. I loved that show! Shinjitaiiii~! I mean, the fucking theme song has been in my fucking head for the last 3 fucking years, jesus fucking christ. Also, the show was good. Buyable good even! But almost everything is buyable to me now. I shouldn't have money. Ever. I waste it. NO! NOT WASTE BUYING THESE USEFUL DVDS! You did not need Final Fantasy Unlimited. Or Escaflowne. That was 60 now useless dollars. FUCK YOU THEY WERE NEEDED!
Well then. You guys didn't need to know what I've wasted my money on. Anyway, yeah. I still have so many games to play, too. I will totally never get to them. Like, there are 7 or 8 RPGs I need to play before summer is over, due to the fact that I own these games and have owned them for more than a semister and such. Also, MGS3. That game begs me to be played every night. Twice. But, I refuse it over and over again. I should stop doing that. And then, there are the games I haven't completed... (most of them.) I mean... Wind Waker. I've done everything... except take all of the pictures. You may call me a fool for wanting to take all of the pictures, but how can I resist! THE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING IN THE GAME! YOU CAN ONLY HOLD 3 AT A TIME! YOU GET STATUES THOUGH! STATUESSSSSSS! Well, one of these days, I will finish it. I swear to you.
Talking about games reminds me of Sony's retardedness. So, they've decided that you won't be able to sell your games to stores like EB Games or anything for the PS3. This brings up two horrible points, however. 1. If we can't buy or sell used games anymore, will you continue producing every game that you make? Are you sureeeeee? EVERY GAME? Even the shitty ones that no one except one person in the entire world wants? You have to, you know. Even if you stop stocking the stores with them because you have too many fucking games, you'll have to produce it and sell it online. 2. What does this mean for rented games? Apparently, you want this so that people will buy the new game. Fine, fine, but what about renting? If, as you say, we are purchasing the right to play the game and not the cd itself, rented games go against this! Many people are playing off of the same CD! Many people don't want to buy the game if they can't resell it after they beat it, so rentals will go through the roof! This goes against your whole "oh man dood we can totally get more money if we make reselling stop dood!" Anyway, Sony, you were retarded for the 600 dollars (FUCK YOU) and you are more retarded for this. Well, I guess I'll let it slide. It's okay... if you release Metal Gear Solid 4. However, the minute I hear that someone has done something wrong and the game won't happen... You are fucked. Not just by me, but by the majority of people. They don't want your puny PS3, they want MGS4. They aren't buying your system, they're buying MGS4 for 650 (or perhaps 660) dollars. Sigh.
I think that's about it for today's update. I guess I'll rant some more later~ BYE!
Hello everyone~~~ I know it's been like 25 years, but you know. It's all good. And by it's all good I mean dan redesigned the site, so that's all good, and apparently i got unlazy enough to post, which is even better! So yeah, a lot of shit has happened... Tech is over for the summer! WOO! I've been doing nothing for the last 2 1/2 weeks! Oh man! My birthday happened (A curse on you who didn't know about it) and it was great! I've watched a lot of standup! Also good! There was a LAN! Amazing! Well anyway, I guess I'll start... during the last week of Tech. If I can remember that long ago.
End of Tech: April 24-May 5
So, Dead Week was pretty bad. Dead Week is Tech's name for the week before finals week, because you're supposed to be dead during it. Also, teachers aren't supposed to have graded assignments during it. Hell Week is the week before that, when all of the teachers throw tests at you. It seems the same stuff that happened last semister continued to happen this semister, but without the fun-havingness. Last semister, no one studied for anything and we all stayed up every night playing Need for Speed: Most Wanted. This semister, no one studied. And that was it. So it was like... sigh. Then Robotics Championships came, and it was bad, for that took more time off of study time. But Robotics itself was fun. I mean, come on, it's Robotics! The first day, like all of East Cobb came (all meaning like 100 kids, putting our total at infinite) and watched some stuff. The days after that, it was just us, but we did decent so it's okay. I think we ended up around where we were last time, which was like ~20th in our division. The championships were cool, but, as Hanzel said, Rosen had some gigantic balls, and made us all sit next to the stairs to the field, so that if we won National Chairman's, we wouldn't have to go very far. Big... big balls. But, we didn't win, so the big balls were bad. Then we went to the picnic for like 3 seconds to eat and then left. They had a rap group playing FIRST songs... it pained me. A lot. Anyway, then we got back to Tech, and I studied my ass off for AE for the next day and a half, because AE was the hardest class I had, and it was also on Monday. So, study study study study study study study study study study take the test probably failed pulled off a C! WOO! I believe that was the grade before, but it's okay. Cause it was only a 2 hour class. The rest of the week went by pretty smoothly, in the sense that I passed all my finals, being Japanese and Calc, and then came Physics. The most rape final I've ever taken. Especially after all the tests were really easy. I couldn't afford to fail, because it's a 4 hour class, and I didn't have any backup A hours to counter it. Luckily, somehow, I pulled off passing that final, so I got a B in the class. Very good for me. It was bad, too, because before the 5th normal test, I had a 98 average, but I bombed that test, and it was bad. Brought me down to like a 78 test average, 82 total average or something like that. But yeah. All day before that final, Stefan and me were packing up shit, so we'd be ready to move out right after the final. At like 5, Dad got there, and then I moved out. There wasn't that much shit, but there was quite a bit. Like 3 boxes or something. One of them was full of books, because I had a lot of fucking books down there. Won't make that mistake again, jesus. I read like 7 the whole time. Then, I WAS FREEEEEEEEEEEEE!
First week back: May 6-May 13
It was quite nice being home again. It had been so long since an extended stay. The bed was just as amazing as before, because it's like ultra soft mattress with ultra soft cover thing that then has ultra soft sheets and ultra fluffy pillows... my my. Also, every day during this week, I went and bought things. As in DVDs and such. I ended up with Battlestar Galactica, Drawn Together, Duck Tales, Escaflowne, Final Fantasy Unlimited, Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, and the Kenshin OVAs. Probably shouldn't have spent that much money. But, who can resist a good Gundam Wing. Come on now. So the normal day consists of picking up Hanzel, taking him to work, coming back home, doing nothing for a while, napping, then picking up Hanzel, and taking him home. That's every day except Wednesdays and Fridays, or whenever I tell you otherwise. I tried to start teaching him how to drive the other day, but somehow, during the like hour of him in the driver's seat, he pressed some pedal so hard that some light I have never seen before came on... luckily, it went off after that. But that was pretty fun. I told him all of the parking lot stuff that's on the driver's test, and he was... decent... at parking, I guess. He kinda needs to learn like a refrence frame, when to start going out when you're aiming for a certain spot, and stuff. We didn't get into parallel parking, because he didn't want to, but hey, whatever. He also wouldn't go on the road, so. But, it's okay. I went up to Wheeler once or twice this week, but I don't even remember what happened. There was also a Minilan, on Tuesday night, which was nice. We made C watch The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi which is an amazing show, and all of you should go watch. Steven was also there, which was good, because we hadn't seen him in forever. His beard is fucking insane. And messy. As all shit. I think if he combed it, it would be sexy. But right now it's just messy. I also told him to comb his beard, a quote of Juggernaut fame that I never thought I would be able to say to anyone. Well, it was all good. Hanzel suggested that he get a giant black power pick for it. I agreed. Keiichi was there, being Keiichi, enacting silent revenge upon us all. We watched the full(part 1) MGS4 trailer(part 2), which is the most godlike thing ever, and it was good. LIQUID OCELOTTTTTTTT! Woo! But yeah. I also told Steven about Radiata Stories, which is TriAce's newest RPG, because he's a big RPG fan. So yeah, that was fun. Hanzel might have come over one day, sometime I showed him the Battlestar Galactica Miniseries. He sent me Eddie Murphy RAW sometime during this, which got me on a Standup Spree, so yeah. That is some funny shit. Then I watched some Richard Pryor, and such, and all was good. So yeah. Next week!
Second week back - Now: May 14-May 23
So this week, I went to school a lot. Well, you know how it is, those crazy kids asked me to go, so I did. I also presented to the seniors in Internship. Once again, it was a nice way to somewhat get revenge at Mrs. Adams. I said stuff that went against her teachings, and it was all well and good. I also said that I had a lot of free time, but that you should go to class, which is pretty much my summary of college. You study a lot, but you still end up with free time, unless you study like wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. Then, if you go to class, it's all good, and you do good in classes. But yeah, that was pretty fun. I also bought more dvds, including G Gundam, LOST (which was for mom for mother's day, but she made me keep it and said it was the thought that counted, so whatever), Indiana Jones, and some Miyazaki moves, but I'll get to those later. So anyway, yeah, normal stuff went on, Hanzel came over again and watched all of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, so that was good. He likes it too. So does Stefan, and everybody. Cause it's amazing. I had my birthday party on the 17th, which was fun. We went to Chili's and ate, and then I used some money I got from it to buy New Super Mario Bros., which is an amazing game, and then we went and saw Mission Impossible 3. It was great. Tom Cruise running was funny, too. Then the 18th was my actual birthday, which I didn't do much, but it was still good. Then the 19th was the LAN. It was pretty amazing. Some people went and saw the DaVinci Code, but I didn't, so it was okay. I didn't play any games, except New Super Mario Bros., but it was still great. I raped Rohit in Star Fox (meaning we both had no health and we shot each other and I got off the first shot) and it was all good. Some people played Risk the whole time, and while I think that game is pretty good, it's too fucking long, so. We watched Eddie Murphy RAW, and Robin Williams live on broadway, and that was about it. Keiichi was there, being Keiichi, enacting silent revenge on us all. It was a pretty good lan, all in all. I started writing the essay on boat sharks... which will be the most in depth thing ever. It's like the Silmarillion to the Lord of the Rings. Well, anyway, my other two essays, FIRE and Concrete is made from burned Jews, are here, if you haven't read them yet. Because you should. Concrete is somewhat lacking, as it was written at Wheeler at David's behest, but you know. If you don't like fire, you're pretty gay for cock. At least, that's the opinion I've gathered from other people. I'm not pretentious enough to say it's the best thing ever, come on now. Anyway, then on Saturday, I don't think I did anything important, so. Maybe I bought Nausicaa. Yeah, that sounds likely. It's like the best movie ever, at least in my opinion. By Miyazaki, it's my favorite of his films. Also, the dub cast is amazing. Uma Thurman, Patrick Stewart (of Picard fame), Edward James Olmos (of Commander Adama fame), and Shia LaBeouf (of Holes fame). Some bitch played the main character, Nausicaa, though, so I couldn't watch it. Anyway, this movie put me on both a Miyazaki and a Nausicaa manga spree. So, i bought Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Howl's Moving Castle. Also, Indiana Jones, cause it was on sale. Oh yeah, last night, when I took Hanzel home, it was great because he decided to drive from the passenger's seat, so I was quite amused. He did pretty good.
Anyway yeah, now that I'm done summing this shit up, time to end the post. Hope you guys had fun reading this! ha-ha~!
So, I know it's been a while, but to make up for it, I'll make this post long. Man, what the fuck.. why do I even say this shit. I don't think anyone reads this anymore...... well, whatever. IT'S FUCKING GETTING SAID FUCK YOU GUYS. So, anyway, yeah. As you might expect, a lot of shit has happened. Like VCU. Yeah, I know I promised a blog update after that, but you know that doesn't mean shit. So fuck you.
So VCU was pretty fun. We didn't do very well, but it was still fun. You know how that kinda shit rolls. I was hoping McGinnis woudl come, but she didn't, and it was saddening. She's my favorite person at Wheeler, I believe. Anyway, I met all of the new freshmen there, cause, you know, it's not like I could have seen them before (besides Paris who is on FIRST), since they were freshmen then. And of course most of them love me because everyone loves me. Well, not really. But I like to think such things. Cause I'm crazy. Anyway, yeah. Alina is pretty cool, she's another Russian chick, the other being Marchenkova, who I believe I've already talked about, but you know. Those might be the only three freshmen whose names I know. Cause........ yeah. Paris knew Kayla (my sister's friend) and that was kind of cool, cause... I also know Kayla. So then I just pretty much hung out and helped with scouting. God, it was so gay though... so, if you've ever been to a robotics competition, you might know that they give match sheets to the people in the pits so that they'll know when they have a match. Well, at VCU, they only gave the people in the pits a sheet that had their matches on it. Which is useless for scouting, since we do all of the matches and need to know what teams are in which match so that the kids don't get confused. So, I had to go to the pit information desk and copy down all of the matches so that we could scout. Pretty gay... pretty gay. Then the cybercenter was okay, and overall, the whole scouting system kinda sucked with a combination of a bad computer thing and a bad sheet thing, plus pretty much everyone being new at scouting. But, it did result in something good, as Jeremy finally told us what he wanted the sheets to have, and what he wanted the scouts to know. That's pretty much a big plus. We won the Entrepreneurship award because of our team's organization and such. We got picked for the finals, but weren't actually in them or anything, so it was somewhat sad. Also, we didn't make it past quarterfinals, but they confused us a little bit with their misannouncing it and such. I hate that kind of crap. But, it was okay and we were all good. Oh, and we went to Ukrops. And it was good. Also, Mr. George got hit by a car, but only by the mirror. The mirror flew off and he kept it as a souvineer. It was kind of bad that it happened, but cool because NOT EVEN A CAR CAN GET MR. GEORGE YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! So anyway.
Then there were two weeks between VCU and Peachtree. So, nothing really happened in the first week, but during the second week, it was kind of gay because I had 3 tests and stuff. Yeah, gay. Anyway, the Japanese test was okay, because it's Japanese, and stuff. The AE test raped me so hard. In fact, I decided that it was 5 guys raping me in different directions inside of my asshole, it was so hard that earthquakes were happeneing, they all came at the same time, and then some cells were left insde which are currently forming another cock which will continue to rape me. Somewhat graphic, but very true. Then, having to skip the beginning of Peachtree, I took a Calc II test, which didn't seem that hard. I felt good about it afterwards which is usually a plus with tests. Stefan was going to go up on his own, but his parents are retarded, so you know. So I took Dan up there too, along with Token, and it was good. I didn't do much on Thursday... I hung out with Sabra and Alina, and also Kinnel, who is still pimp, and made fun of him for not having played Kingdom Hearts 2 imported which me and Dan did so you know and it was great. It was just practice, so not much went on anyway. Then we went to Pepperoni's and ate and it was good. OH MAN IT WAS SO GREAT! So Jake finally ate too much and threw up on the table! I was very amused. Then we all went back to Tech and somewhat raced but you know and Token was scared. But that's how it goes. Oh man these sentences are bad, but I've stopped caring at this point in the post. So on Friday me and Token stayed up all night and then went up to Gwinett, after I busted my taillight on one of the Tech Maintence cars... yeah, fuck you guys. Shut up. Then it was pretty much the same as the day before except it started with me getting a list of the matches so that they could go into the computer and such. They made us move the spot of the cybercenter from it's traditional one... and it made me mad. Anyway, watched some matches, cheered, slept in the seat, missed scouting because I slept through some of my matches and it was bad, but you know. Then we went to the social at Jillians, and it was good, and stuff. Went back to Tech, Dan didn't this time, but you know, and then hung out with Guen who was there ready for the hanging out. I gave her the Christmas present I got her finally, and you know. Then, for Saturday, me and Token overslept, so we got there when finals started pretty much. It was fun. We actually stood up for every final match and it was great. Didn't win, weren't in rankings, but we got chosen (not by who we wanted (which was the winning team, 1414) and then didn't make it past quarterfinals) and it was good. Also, the team doing the macarena (including me) was up on the screen and it saddened me. Mom made fun of me when we got back. So then it was Awards time, and we won CHAIRMANS AGAIN YEAH 3 TIMES WOO WHY ARE WE SUCH GODS! It was great, Rosen teared up, everyone loved it. Then we went and ate at the Loafing Leprechaun which was right next to the place and stuff. It was pretty good, got to hang out with those crazy Wheeler kids for a while and stuff. Then, we (being the tech kids + Token) went to see V for Vendetta, which was fucking insane and good omg. Then I went back to Tech, packed up, came home, slept until 5 today, and it was good. So that's about the end of it.
So today I heard Yes- Roundabout in the car and had to download it because I forgot how amazing the song was. That's the end of my story.
Here is the promised comic! However no update. Lazy. But not too lazy to make a comic. Hey, fuck you.
Hey, so I know it's been a while, but here's a Shadow's comic! I'll update with a blog post (AND MAYBE EVEN ANOTHER COMIC)! WOO!
So since that last post a few hours ago, I've looked at a bit of game stuff and such. You know how it is. The DS Lite is pretty fucking hack. And I want it. Badly. However, that evil Japan gets things long before us. So it'll be a while. Since it's not even out there yet. FUCK JAPAN. But I do want it. Also, I was reading about Tetris DS cause I saw it on gamesarefun, and it looks fucking amazing. I think my favorite mode will be the metroid one (yes, there's a metroid mode) and you like roll around and pick up tetris blocks and shit. However, I also found out that the fucking PS3 will cost $800 to make! $800! That's so fucking much! I don't think Sony will sell it for that, though. That would be bad. And no one would buy it. Also, every time I see that controller... I cry tears of sorrow. It's so weird and stuff. And a boomerang. I don't particularly want to have a boomerang. For a controller. But... whatever. The Revolution is still hacking along and such, you know, with its REVOLUTIONARLY REVOLUTION... etc. That controller also scares me, but in a good way. Like roller coasters. Or good scary movies. Then, the XBOX 360 is still gaying. That hasn't changed much. PSP sucks, with UMD sales down more so pretty much no more UMD movies, which is amusing, cause it was a retarded concept from the beginning, but if you care at all about game stuff you've heard the argument I would give about 3000000 times from 10 different people who copmlain about the PSP, so I don't think I'll rant. The DS is once again in a shortage in Japan, but the total sales are beating both the PSP, PS2, and every other system. I'm not sure if the PS2 is the new PS2 or the old and new sales combined, so I can't really say much, but you know. Maybe it's for the year. That would probably make more sense.
In other news, non-game related, I'm doing pretty well in all of my classes... got my first AE test back, got a 67, which is a C, so. That's nice. I was like 5 points below the average, though, so that was kinda saddening. I thought I did like 100% well, but I didn't really know what he wanted when he said "static pressure," so that was how that went. I'm not failing any of my classes, which is good, so that's always a plus. I've had at least one test in every class, which is kinda nice. This semister is zooming by pretty fast. I only have one paper to write in english, as opposed to last semister, when I had to write like 50,000 and stuff. The big group project thing is this week for that, so luckily we'll be done with that and I won't really have much to worry about in there. That will be nice. I like my Calc II teacher, who relates knowledge to having a website in your head that you can use Google to search through, which is funny every time. He also yells at people who leave early, and by yells at, I mean says stuff like "What, you're leaving now? It's just the first date! You don't even know how I am!" He's pretty much the only teacher worth mentioning, though.
On to less important things, like books! So, I found all of the Hunter's Blade trilogy in hardcover, which I have been looking for for a long time. Also, the last book in the series was signed by Salvatore... randomly... since I bought it at Barnes and Noble. Adressed to some random Nick guy. I laughed quite a bit. After about a year, the last War of the Spider Queen book finally came out in paperback! I have been waiting to read that series for so long. However, I'm in the middle of Redwall right now (in fact, I've been on the same book since school started, but I'm too lazy to finish it right now) so I can't read it yet. Then, like yesterday or maybe the day before, I ordered The Legacy, the next book in the sexy Salvatore series. I can't wait. Even though I've read it before, I need them in sexyness. Cause sexyness is the only way to go. I haven't really bought any manga in a while, but I want to finish getting 3x3 Eyes in Japanese. I also want to get Hajime no Ippo in Japanese, cause it's pretty much my other favorite series. And fuck VIZ. I've spent enough fucking money on their shit, when the used Japanese manga is so much cheaper. Not that I'm going to stop buying VIZ stuff. Cause I'm not. Cause I'm a fool. BUT SHUT UP.
One last other news, I guess... Robotics and randomness. Cause. R&R. Rest and Relaxation. Roper's Revenge. Restroom. Whatever. So the robot is actually pretty cool this year, even though it's short and fat. Which is a new thing for the Circuitrunners. Everything isn't worked out yet, though, which could be bad since we're shipping Tuesday. Yes, tomorrow. Pain. Also, I don't think a box is made. But Santosh/Platt's predictions were for it being done today, which could be possible. I wonder if they're doing an all-nighter. We did for the scrimmage, on Saturday, but I don't know if they are tonight. Anyway, I spent way too much time writing this for no reason... OTHER THAN TO KILL KEIICHI! But. I guess I'll... type again tomorrow? Maybe? If stuff goes down. But you never know. Anyway, I guess I'll see you guys later.
Recently, I discovered that Keiichi has a blog! THIS IS NOT ALLOWED! HE POSTS MORE THAN ME! I WILL KILL HIM. So, here's an essay I started writing about a month and a half ago. ENJOY.
So, it's a hard thing to accept, but Liquid is totally the most hardcore of everyone. You may think this is already an accepted fact since you know Liquid has the dominat genes, but given Liquid's personality and voice, it's not a thing most people accept. Snake may have been the victor of their confrontations, but the fact that it took 5 fucking fights for him to win says something. So, first, Snake fights Liquid in a Hind-D, on top of a 30 story building. The Hind-D falls to the ground after being shot with a lot of stinger missles, but Liquid manages to survive. After this (and a lot of gameplay), Liquid returns and you fight him in Metal Gear REX. Liquid ends up taking a lot of stinger missles to his face, and is in REX as it explodes, but still has enough strength to drag Meryl and a passed out Snake to the top of Metal Gear REX, where they have a punching battle. After Snake wins and knocks Liquid off of the top of REX, a fall that, in Liquid's words, not even the legendary Solid Snake could survive, during Snake's escape from Shadow Moses, he returns again, survives multiple bullets to the head and an exploding jeep, but somehow, he is not dead. As Liquid is on his last and is about to take on Snake again, he finally succumbing to FOXDIE. MGS1 was all about genes, and after the credits, you hear Ocelot talking to the president (Solidus) about how even though Liquid had the dominant genes, because he thought he had the recessive genes, he lost. Analyzing this, you realize that... it took 5 fights with a Liquid who did not believe in his own power, and thought Snake was so much better, for Snake to win. Even though it seems like there is no way Liquid could come back from FOXDIE, this is not the end of Liquid. Ocelot, who got his arm cut off by the Ninja, takes the dead Liquid's arm and attaches it to his body. While Ocelot (Adamska Shalashaska Ocelot) is somewhat mystic, and can channel spirits, this does not explain that Liquid can actually possess Ocelot by means of his dead arm. The mysticism of Ocelot may explain the presence of Liquid's spirit, but it's all Liquid's will that takes over Ocelot. It seems that Liquid leaked the information to Otacon so that Snake could infiltrate the Tanker to find out about the new Metal Gear. Liquid takes control of Ocelot for a little bit during the Tanker incident, but is quickly pushed out by Ocelot, who is apparently a Patriot spy. 2 years later, Liquid once again takes over Ocelot, but it seems to be for good this time. So, after Liquid takes over Ocelot, you find out that his true plan was to take on the Patriots, the enemy of pretty much all of the Big Boss clones. Anyway, Liquid wants them all to die, which is why he "choose Ocelot as his host." Snake dives into the ocean after Liquid, who is in Metal Gear RAY, and puts a tracking device on it. Liquid (or perhaps Ocelot, but the picture on the MGS4 website was Ocelot wearing Liquid clothes) will be back in the next game, you can be sure of it. Until then, this is the end of the LIQUID IS HARDCORE essay. Thank you.
Hey guys! First post of the new year! Well, at least you aren't loading all of those pictures and taking a lot of bandwidth (it doesn't matter, but) because that was kinda ghetto. Anyway, so there have been like 20 minilans (meaning 4) and they've been fun. There was one last night and it was also fun. I've been playing Animal Crossing: Wild World a lot too. Hell, I haven't updated in forever.... well.
So, the LAN was really fun. You guys should have been there, if you weren't. We watched The Octagon (starring everyone's God, Chuck Norris) and Hercules Against the Moon Men. I made up my own crazy version of The Octagon... and it was scary. It should never be shared. Ever. You guys are lucky I don't remember it. Just saying. Games were played too, pretty much the usual LAN fare. Um, so, then, after the LAN, came 2 of the minilans. They weren't right after, and were, in fact, right before Christmas, but. One started when I went shopping with Keiichi, C, and my sister. That was pretty fun. I bought Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time and Dragon Quest 8. I got Token Killer 7 for Gamecube, which he has been looking for for a long long time. So then we went to Chick-Fil-A, and Dan also came, so since that happened, we ended up going to my house, we being me, Keiichi, and Dan. So that was the first one. Also, Keiichi gave me a 30 dollar gift card to Best Buy, which I used that night. So the next day, I went to Barnes and Noble, like a fool, and bought 5 books. These books were the first 5 of the Redwall series, and started Chaos, as after the Minilan the next day at Dan's with Steven, Keiichi, Token, me, and Dan, I went to Barnes and Noble again, getting the rest of the series. Now, I have all 17 books, and have pledged to finish them this break (cough not going to happen cough). Um, I also got FFIV Advance, FF8, 9, and 10, a lot of hoodies, Animal Crossing Wild World, a few books, a PS2 controller and memory cards, and that's about it. Then there was a minilan on the Monday after Christmas with Token, Andrew, Keiichi, Roman, me, and Dan and that was good. Then, finally, there was one New Years Eve, and that's about it. Well, I guess I'll post again later! I would post these pictures, but I'm lazy. They aren't like photos or anything.. but you would probably laugh. Also, we saw the Producers. It was amazing. You should go see it. Okay bye!
